Processing is carried out using computers and / or telematics means, with organizational methods and logics strictly related to the stated purposes. In addition to the owner, in some cases, access to the Data may be available to personnel involved in the organization of the Site (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Managers by the Owner of the Processing procedure. The Data are processed at the headquarters of the Data Controller. Any processing of Data outside one of the EU Member States may require the consent of the User or the Interested Party.

What is Structum’s Role?

Structum’s role when it refers to the iKnode Cloud and its users is considered a Data Processor and a Data Controller. Structum’s role when it refers to the applications running on the iKnode Cloud, is considered a Data Processor under the GDPR and our users are then considered Data Controllers.

What Information do we collect when customers access our website?

We collection personal information to identify customers as users of the system: Email, Full Name, User Name and Password.
We collect information about the device in the network that is accessing our systems: IP Address.

What Information do we collect when customers contact us?

We collect persona information to identify the customer we are working with to be able to respond accordingly.

What personal information do we store & how do we use it?

We store the following personal information on our systems:

  • Email - Email is used for user authentication/authorization in the system. Additionally email is the preferred method for communication.
  • Full Name - Friendly name used to identify a user in the system.
  • Password - Password is used to allow users to gain access to the system.
  • IP Address - The IP address is used to track calls in our backend for security purposes.
  • Tracking Information - We use this information to track usage of our system to improve our services.

How do we protect information?

Our databases are protected with Authentication and Authorization mechanisms. Personal information is partitioned in separated entities from the rest of the data. Passwords are encrypted using industry best practices. Communication from or to our servers is secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 256 encryption keys.

Where is the data stored?

All the data for the iKnode Cloud systems and infrastructure is built on-top of Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is GDPR ready.
All of our payment information is stored in Stripe, which is also GDPR ready.
Our website analytics are stored by Google Analytics, which is GDPR ready.

All of data processed by the iKnode Cloud is stored in the United States of America, which conforms to the hosting locations specified by the GDPR.
